On the Day !

Collars and leashes

A flat quick release collar with no tags. We do not want the dog to experience a "tug" from the collar when they go around a corner in a tunnel during Meet Mr Rat or Novice . A quick release collar for Go to Ground. Once the dogs are working underground they cannot have a leash or collar .

Leashes should be easily detachable from the collar

No flexileads are allowed.

What else should I bring ?

  • A crate or expen for your dog so that they can relax between sessions.
  • A chair.
  • We have coffee in the morning !
  • Water for your dog and drinks for yourself
  • Shade for your dog and sunscreen for yourself
  • If your time permits bring some lunch or snacks and klotch with us for lunch.

Last But IMPORTANT

We practice in and near the woods ...tick and flea protection for you and your dog is important . and check your dog ( and yourself ) for ticks after practice .
